The Dog Bar

Had an absolute blast today at the Day of the Dead Block Party. The staff was on top of everything from cleaning up after dogs when owners weren't watching to the bar tenders who were fast and super friendly! Thanks for the awesome time, we will be back way more often!

Amazing place for you and your pup. There's an off leash play area and a lounge for you and your pup to play. People are friendly (and who wouldn't be with cute dogs around) and owners were attentive to their fur babies. Even in the midst of a thunderstorm, all dogs and owners where calm, cool and collected. Definitely worth the trip even without a pup, but you really shouldn't deprive your dog of this opportunity.

If I could give them more than five stars, I would! This place is great for bringing your dog to and getting them socialized. They have agility courses, small pools and balls for the dogs to enjoy. They will require you bring paperwork the first time you bring your dog to show that your dog is current on their shots. The staff there truly love dogs and their job. They constantly have events that are fun for both the owners and the dogs, including a monthly bath where the proceeds go to a local rescue.

Great bar. Large space, good music, great tap list and well priced drinks. Always a food truck outside too. Even if you don't own dogs it's a nice place to hang out

In just three short years Dog Bar has become a St. Pete landmark and destination for bar lovers and animal lovers alike. Get a membership and bring your socialized four-legged friend, or just stop by for a drink and watch the pooches play. Best of the Bay-winning bartenders, local art, and great food trucks, plus a lot of positive community involvement. Can't recommend it enough.

What a fun place and neat idea! The staff checking in were so kind and friendly. Love the fact that your dog(s) can be off leash too in the gated areas while you enjoy a drink and socializing! We were in one of the back rooms (a game room with a pool table) for a private party. So fun!

This was the best stop on our pedal pub tour. Loved all the dogs and this also opens up a lot of conversations with their people. Lots of fun.

The Dog Bar is awesome. Food trucks outside and I met the owner there too with his great Danes. What a great concept! If you don't like dogs then you won't like this place obviously. It's very fun to socialize in an open setting with puppers running around playing everywhere.

I was one of the first members of this place and will continue to be for life. I find it to be much cleaner than the filthy dog park, where my dog kept getting infections in his mouth because of the drinking water there being constantly contaminated. At Dog Bar they are constantly re-filling the bowls with fresh water/ice and bonus - no mud for him to roll in so he stays pretty clean! He loves it, especially the kiddie pools in the summer, and I love being able to watch him play in a safe environment while de-stressing from the day with a cocktail.

I love this place and so do my dogs..without question! This is an awesome place to take your furry friends if you want to have a few drinks and let your pups socialize. They actually have staff members as “doggy referees” to make sure things don’t get out of hand while you socialize yourself. As long as your dog has been fixed and is up to date on vaccinations, then you won’t have any issues. If you haven’t been here, then you have to give it a shot...your dog will thank you for it (and it’s a good way for them to get out some energy and play).

Just a very cool place. Great atmosphere. Lot of beautiful dogs, all well behaved and owners that can control their dogs quickly if need be. The outdoor dog area is very cool, and the indoor bar scene is laid back too. Theres a nifty game room inside too with ski-ball. Bathrooms were also very clean.But please get your dog fixed before you bring it here. Otherwise it throws off the calm, playful vibe for all the dogs and their owners.

Not joking at all, greatest bar ever. I'm very sorry to inform Disney that there is a new "happiest place on Earth". The dog area in this bar is equipped like a mini dog park, complete with double doors for entry and exit. Even though I didn't have a dog with me, it was a blast to just sit and drink a beer surrounded by pups having fun.

I loved this place !!! The dogs are running about & they look so happy to be able to visit with people. I don't have a dog but always wanted one but my houseful of cats say no way ! I can go here have a few drinks & pet the pups till my hearts content. There are areas where you can sit without dogs running about, but why would you . The staff is quick to pick up any "packages " the dogs leave or wash away any "sprinkles " too. This is a great happy place to go & chill. I highly recommend a trip here soon.
